Pure Praxis

Pure Praxis is a theatrical kinesthetic-based training company that is dedicated to the prevention and awareness of current social and cultural issues.

Actor-Advocates will portray realistic scenarios to help the audience identify conflict on the spot. Following the performance segment Pure Praxis will lead an interactive discussion focusing on the nuances of the scene. With the help of each audience member, we produce creative solutions to combat the problem while creating an entertaining and open-minded space for any and all questions to be answered. Through hands-on audience participation and live high energy theater, we create real life social situations that will speak directly to your demographics by highlighting the misunderstandings surrounding this topic and empower audiences to respond by practicing what they would do during complex situations.

Pure Praxis is guided by its Founder & Creator, Kelly Pfleider. Kelly has 18 years of experience and has dedicated over 5,000 hours to improving her craft in training, performance, and the creation of upstander/bystander resiliency workshops. Her commitment has positioned Pure Praxis as a forefront solution in the realm of training.

Each Pure Praxis training follows our Three Point Method – Inform, Connect & Act. We initiate by Informing the audience about the issue at hand, fostering a profound understanding of its urgency. Next, our Connect phase blends research and storytelling as actors share narratives that generate empathy and education. This leads us to the ultimate stride: empowering audience members to Act as catalysts for change. This trifecta is the heart of what makes each training successful.
