eric j rodriguez is a former tech industry leader speaking on the intersection of AI & belonging

Eric J Rodriguez's journey from a curious youngster in Ecuador to a transformative leader in the tech industry exemplifies the profound impact of technology and innovation on bridging societal divides.

Exposed to stark contrasts in wealth and opportunities after moving from Houston to Ecuador at age eleven, Eric was inspired to leverage technology as a catalyst for creating opportunities and fostering inclusive growth.

This ambition crystalized when he encountered his first computer lab in seventh grade, setting him on a path to impactful roles that have touched lives from Arizona to Swaziland, and back to his roots in Ecuador. With a career spanning engineering, human resources, and strategic leadership, Eric has dedicated himself to integrating technology in ways that enhance human experiences rather than replace them.

His contributions have been recognized with accolades such as Arizona's 40 Under 40 and the Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever award, affirming his impact through his work with organizations like Aguila Youth, SHPE, Prospanica, and INROADS. As a speaker and consultant, Eric blends technical acumen with empathetic leadership to guide organizations across various sectors towards embracing a future where technology amplifies human capabilities.

Holding a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston and an MBA from Loyola University New Orleans, Eric’s story is more than a series of achievements. It’s an ongoing testament to the power of technology to transform lives, inspire change, and guide us toward a future where innovation and human values converge for the greater good.

Eric joined us at Harry's Inc. for a powerful closing keynote during our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Eric was able to inspire the audience to think about how to establish and build a legacy of impact in one's career, and find meaning in the work we are doing, at the intersection of our skills and passions.  Eric made a clear and compelling case for how prioritizing inclusion drives innovation and helps us live into our mission to Create Things People Like More.  Eric went above and beyond to create a keynote that was relevant and important to our audience, engage his audience and inspire them to think big, and to spend time getting to know us as a client.  Eric is truly a leader that everyone, regardless of career stage or role, can learn from and be inspired by.
